The Go BIG Committee is proud to announce the 2023
Go BIG or Go HOME BBQ Bash is scheduled for May 12th & 13th.
We invite you to join us for the 10th Annual Mark Marley Go BIG or Go HOME BBQ Bash. This one day event includes a sanctioned Cook Off, Live Music and Vendor Booths.
The Cook-Off is associated with the Champion Barbeque Alliance (CBA). CBA is an organization founded by barbecue cooks for barbecue cooks and our main goal is to bring competition barbecue out of the stone age and into the information age… but above all we want to make barbecue fun again!
The Bash is named in honor of Mark Marley, a longtime Plainview resident who spent his free time cooking for various fundraising events. Unfortunately Marley lost his life way too early to cancer and proceeds raised from this event go to the fight against cancer. We are proud to honor his legacy of community activism with an event he enjoyed doing – cooking.
